Your Message – If you don’t know it, neither will your customers

When we begin a new web project, the first question is normally “what is your message?”  Often that question is met with silence.  The problem then becomes, how do we convey a message that is undefined?  If you don’t know your message, then you can be certain that your customers won’t.

Defining your message – what you want to say, and how you will say it, is the most important aspect of your website.  Everything from design to features, to social media campaigns – depend on it.

Your message is much more than “we have the best widget there is”.  It conveys who you are, what you do, how you do it, and
